Debbie Reynolds has died.

Postby SourSpice » 29 Dec 2016, 03:39

Debbie Reynolds -- who rose to stardom in "Singin' in the Rain" and quickly became a staple among Hollywood royalty -- died Wednesday as a result of a stroke, TMZ has learned ... just one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away ... this according to her son Todd.
Debbie was rushed to a hospital shortly after 1 PM when someone at the Beverly Hills home of her son, Todd, called 911 to report a possible stroke. We're told Debbie and Todd were making funeral plans for Carrie, who died Tuesday of cardiac arrest.

RIP to yet another legend :(

Sad thing is, this is only the beginning.

The logic of it comes from the fact that "fame" only really began in its current form in the 40s and 50s. Many of those celebrities have already passed, but many more people have become famous since then. Add that to increasing population, the rise of the Internet and social media (and increasing popularity of celebrities), and baby boomers starting to get old, celebrity deaths are going to keep coming full steam ahead for a long time now.

Many people are saying "fuck you 2016", but this is going to become a norm, 2016 is just the first heavy year.

Guaranteed 2017 and beyond will be just as littered withe celebrity deaths as 2016 if not more, unfortunately.
