How is this signature acceptable?

Postby Phuzz » 23 Apr 2017, 13:44

Are mods aware of this user's signature image?

"tommie" userid=42119

How is a graphic photo of a battered woman acceptable as a sig image? Seeing it repeatedly up and down threads is intolerable.

The sig rules state "please respect other users when it comes to what is contained within your signatures" so please if a mod could look at this, acknowledge the nature of the user's sig and ask themselves if it's something denden wants all over their forum?

Example post:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=238553&p=4162114#p4162114

Seeing the sig in threads about Mel B's divorce and reports of domestic violence is especially jarring.

I agree. Specially considering it's a hate signature against Cheryl and other forum rules also state quite clearly that we shouldn't post hateful messages against artists/celebrities just because. I have all sigs deactivated so I don't have to see it, anyway.

I agree, thank you for bringing it to attention. I've invited tommie to change his signature.

As far as large signature go, I'll try to look into those as well, thanks Josh!

Thank you, removed and warned. This really does seem like a tattle tale route but there is legit no other way to find these signatures at the moment.
So please, if you're one of the people that gets caught with an oversized signature, don't be salty to the people who outed you - the mod team asked everyone to keep an eye out.
If you do want to point one out without making it public, feel free to PM me.
