I loved that, hours and hours of fun.
I also remember spicevideos' 30mb mpg videos, it took me more than one hour to donwload each video.

Lucky you! It used to take me like 3 hours to download those :dizzy: Incredible to think it'd now take me less than a minute, how the fuck did that happen?!

And when the download suddenly stoped... :curse: fortunately I discovered the download manager programs.

I really didn't see a problem with Geri tweeting the other girls but not Victoria, she would have never replied anyway.

That´s. I don´t see a problem at all. Victoria doesn´t follow any of them and never replied, so what´s the point including Victoria all the time in all tweets? Bah! :despise:

Just a waste of characters tbh, she'll never even read it anyway

Perhaps. Interesting that none of the other girls have replied though (on twitter anyway). Seems Geri was trying to make a point for everyone to see.

‏@GeriHalliwell @OfficialMelB Melanie- you are so original spirited , and amazing. Thank you. Xxx

‏@GeriHalliwell @EmmaBunton Emma you are so special , kind, beautiful shiny person , you really are .thank you !

No they haven't. I don't know, even though the messages are directed at the others, they still seem to be all about Geri Halliwell.

But whatever, I guess like people have commented, Victoria doesn't use her twitter account in the same way as the others.

Don't think it was rude.

Otherwise Victoria is more rude not to follow the others

Maybe she told them she doesn't do her own twitter most of the time, so no need to keep on writing to her and never get answers. They can call or email her.

Im finally getting round to posting on this, and I loved it, every last morsel, I didn't want it to end! As always (with these type of things) there was a lot of rehashing of stories we already know, but I also feel we saw and heard lots of new things. I particularly liked seeing Biff and the Absolute boys, Melanie in the studio and seeing all the behind-the-scenes footage of 'Wannabe'. And I just loved how much this was about the music, it was lovely hearing the girls talk so specifically about individual songs/singles. I really enjoyed all Geri's anecdotes about the writing, and I quite like the fact that she was taking ownership (even if mainly for herself, but also for the group). Overall, I like how it wasn't too dominated by the girls relationships with each other but mainly for the music, which I guess was the whole point in trying to sell the musical.

My personal highlights though of the show were how adorable Emma was throughout, and the "I wanna be a popstar forever" moment was just so sincere and sweet. Mel B's little speech was genuinely moving in a way that she has never provoked in me before, if that makes sense? And of course the Emma, Melanie and Geri weep-along. It was all very moving, and 'Viva Forever' playing the show out couldn't have been more appropriate or special. It made me feel very nostalgic in quite a sad way, it still amazes me how this song can completely catch you off guard even when you've played it to death and then some.

Last point, I do feel quite disappointed in the ratings, but going back to one of my earlier posts I still feel this show would have done much better and created more of a reaction had it been screened at any other time. I think most of the shows it was up against on christmas eve were probably more suitable for mass family viewing. I know this is the usual Spice fan excuse but I do truly believe this. Had it been shown, say this coming weekend, with christmas completely out of the way I think we would have seen a much greater impact for the GH and the singles.

Completely agree! Perhaps Christmas Eve was too overconfident. A documentary about a music group, even the Spice Girls, is quite a niche programme.
