About 10. I usually get to like a few songs on any album if I listen to them enough. But the only ones that really stuck with me were Numb and Something for the Fire. Anymore is so-so. It's mediocre at best.

Uh, no. It's still Melanie C we're talking about here.

I know. That's why the album will never really fly. Sex sells.

If she will do a sexy video it will get a backlash from the media and twitter because Mel C did bash Little Mix for being so sexual in their videos

A girl is allowed to change her mind (hopefully).

sadly....she is a bit too casual for todays music industry.......

she urgently needs to spice her image up.....most of the time she doesn't look like a pop artist....at al.....

Yet again, we're talking about Melanie C.

The best thing she could aim for is probably the Radio 2 crowd who doesn't buy singles, but will buy albums. The dreams of Melanie C getting a hit single should be officially over. She's 42 and haven't had a proper hit in 15 years - she might as well be dead when it comes to singles!

Hold On is one of the 4 decent tracks from this album, imo.

I listened to it in full and I'm not a fan. I don't like Alex's voice, but the song is ok, but I don't see it as a single.

At a guess he rewrote his parts in the song, but that's just a guess. I still think it was all planned in advance before the album was even released though.

I didn't think much of Hold On at first listen. The more I've heard it the more I like it. It's definitely radio friendly. My Mum has the UK version of the album but I played the German release the other day and she really liked Hold On. She said he has a really nice voice and they go well together. So who knows. Maybe the Radio 2 crowd will take to it

the song needs something after the middle 8....it goes back to the usual chorus......it needs something bigger.... ad libs or higher notes......

well...if u compare with any late solo single...it was a smash hit! and anyway the GH went well, so i guess people just bought the album instead of the single...I wish they could do the same with her solo ones

Uggggghhhhh I cannot stand Something for the Fire. :puke:
Her voice is obnoxious and it's so repetitive. I hate the way she sings "fire". Fahhhhhhhhhhhh! Fayaahhhhrrrr!! :death:

I think Hold On is lovely and definitely radio friendly. It's certainly not an assault on the ears. One Minute is haunting and beautiful as well. She might have a shot with Hold On though.

having a track like "Room for Love" on the album and releasing "Hold On" is mistake.......

but she did this with The Sea too.....(Burn)

by the way....I love the song more and more with every listening.......

but... performing it acoustic wont do any favour for the song

Except that LY was Matt Cardle's single with just a feature e and bit of writing's credits by Melanie, hardly solo, right?

Yeah, but it's not equal to her other solo singles chart positions and we all know it's because of Cardle.
