Where did you hear this?

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite confident the GEM thing is long dead but she didn't say that in this TV special...

she didn't say the whole thing is not happening anymore, but her words don't really show anything is happening at all: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02nrxk ... /downloads

Thanx a lot for download link. I really love documentary and i love that it was about whole decade, not only about Geri. I'm so happy to see her on tv and she look great, her image is great, love her. And it's great that she's little by little coming to the spotlight. I see that she's doing a lot with BBC, she's on tv, on their radio, she gave interview to BBC yesterday at Commonwealth Day service, hope they will support her music.

Just noticed it's being repeated right now on BBC2 at five past midnight.

Nice that they thought enough of it to give it a second airing.

What a nice program! And Geri looks so good in it! Nice to see her mum again also, she seems like the nicest woman! So down to earth, so loving.

I'll always be fascinated by Geri's story and it was so nice to hear her talk about it, see the unseen photos, hear the Absolute-boys talk about her and her music... Amazing.

I've been a 90's fan since I can remember, the fashion (the 90's had everything, which is what I love), the music (as soon as the years tipped 2000 and all that pseudo RnB/ hip hop shit came to be, it was so clear a golden era was over. And it didn't recover for a long time), the optimism... I kind of wish I was 8-10 years older in the beginning of the 90's. Living those early 90's summers with that music and fashion... Dream come true!

Hehe I agree. Being 18 when the girls came out would be amazing. Clubbing and wannabe coming on during peak Spice would be so cool.

I'm trying to design a cover for it adapting the original logo, and it's so ugly that nothing seems to look good enough lol
Which one would you prefer?

Front is perfect but at the back there are too many pics of Geri IMHO. That car shot could be on the top, above the text and you should get rid of the other pics. Maybe if you really want to use one of them just put one tiny one on the side between BBC logo and the title? And put the title slightly lower then?

Agree. Geri is really progressing as she age. I think all GEM do. As they get older, they become more matured emotionally and growth with wisdom. Sadly, there are people that are getting old but not progressing and going backwards instead.

Please don't make this into a GEM vs. MV thing, that's not what I meant. I couldn't disagree more that all members of GEM are maturing. Emma and Geri yes. Mel B, however, probably the least out of all five of them.

I always found Geri adorable. And when she wasn't I always tried to understand why or give her the benefit of the doubt.

It was a nice documentary. I like how Geri has grown up and calmed down a bit without erasing her whole personality à la Designer Spice. I was surprised at how little the Spice Girls' story featured in the documentary, though, and I could have done without the gushing over Tony Blair and New Labour.
